Smiles for Life: A National Oral Health Curriculum
Smiles for Life, developed by the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine Group on Oral Health, is an interprofessional oral health curriculum designed to provide primary care providers with education in oral health promotion across the lifespan. The curriculum consists of eight 45-minute modules covering core areas of oral health. The curriculum is being used in hundreds of nursing, midwifery, physician, and physician assistant training programs with endorsements from leading health professional organizations. CME or CE credit is awarded for the completion of each module. For each course, a user must score an 80% or higher on the post-test to receive credit.
